How Addicted to Buying Gear Are You?

I have finally gotten the monkey off my back. I have decided to sell

Me too:

3 x M cameras (various)
3 x Summicrons (various)
5 x other Leica lenses (various)
2 x other RF lenses (various)
1 x evil SLR

I feel good!

I am keeping 3 x rangefinders, 3 x MF, 1 x dSLR, 1 x 35mm SLR, and some lenses too

I have to admit to getting a kick (emotional high) out of finding a good photo deal. Yesterday in my local Craigslist, someone listed a Rolleiflex with closeup lenses for $30. I didn't get it because someone else saw the ad sooner, but for a time, it was exciting to think that I might. Did I need another Rolleiflex? No, but for that price, I would have bought it and it would have made me happy to do so.

Many are the faces of a Collector

It all started with a "deal" off of Craig's List ... turned out to be a IIIcK and I was hooked.... Now have about 35 wartime IIIc's and others. But now, I am happy ... I have had the chance to learn so much about them and hope to share much of that information with all. Thanks to LeicaTom for working with me on this project.

Im now having the reverse of GAS and am selling stuff I bought and keeping my gear to a minimum. I just want to sell my R2A and buy a more modern 50mm for my M3. Possibly try a 135 on it but I doubt it, I like a cleaner 90/4 elmar than the beat to hell one i got for $27.00 off ebay with haze and a ton of scratches. The plus side of that 90/4 is that it still works well for B/W and it was cheap.

Al,

I bought such a camera a month ago. Now, Eddy Smolov has brought it back to life.
It has a Zeiss Jena Tessar 75mm 3.5 lens. It looks uncoated to me.

I am getting better these days at first selling items before purchasing new items. It gives me a good feeling that I don't have too much equipment just sitting here.
