And here is a quote from Cameraquest web site on Hexar: " The Hexar RF is an excellent camera. With some features that no Leica M had until the introduction of the Leica M7 in 2002. I expect some Hexar RF's finding themselves into a Leica bag, working besides an M6 to offer the photog the best of both." So, did you change your mind about it since?
So, with all that going for it, and just possible problem servicing, Hexar RF seems to be a far better deal to me than a Bessa or a ZI, even more so if I can get it for less that I'd pay for a Bessa R4A.
I wrote the review when Konica was still a camera company and when Hexar RF's were easily serviced in the US. So far my techs has been unable to find a source for Hexar RF parts in the US, so I have turned down Hexar RF repairs.
Which camera is best for you, only you and your camera can decide. However you asked for reasons not to go with the Hexar RF.
