…a film kit!
i think i would go for a bessa r4 and a cv 25 lens.
i have had many rf cameras in my time and enjoyed most of them but one that sticks in my mind as fun and reliable and modern ( i would want modern) then the r4 is the one!
how about you digital users…what film kit might you buy?

I'm not a digital user, except my iPhone. If I had not, I'd buy them. What? Leica MP silver with Summicron 50 and Rolleiflex 3.5 F. But I have them...

what?
I still have my Konica HexarAF, FM3a, Bessa-T, Minolta SRT-101, Canon Canonet (blades stick though
).
In film gear, I do wish that I owned a M-something, probably the M6 "classic", but as a shelf-piece only.

Bronica RF645 I think, very easy to like this nifty compact. The R4 and 25 is a nice combo too though...

the sony rx2.
Yeah, I know it doesn't exist yet but neither does the money I'd need to buy one. (see what I did there?)

Intresting...
I was strictly digital in terms of photography around 2006-2011.
And I knew next to nothing about film gear back then. Bessa Rs, Leica Ms, Rollei 35s and Hasselblads just not exists to me.
Family FED-2, cheap next to disposable P&S and most affordable EOS "something" film Rebel with cheap zoom on it was more than enough to me before 2006 and for couple of decades prior to...

I haven't sold off my film Ms yet, although I haven't used them since I got the M9 and MM. Changing ISO on the fly and having this quality (below) at ISO2500 is just awesome

Me? if I had the money and the means I would get a 12x20 banquet camera. Sigh... Someday...

Well as being able to afford it was not specifically part of the question then.......
Plaubel Makina W67 6x7 w/WIDE NIKKOR 55mm F/4.5.
Light weight, big negative, folds pretty flat, interesting glass.

What might I buy, or what do I have?
I have tons of cameras, both film and digital. All different kinds. If I wanted an RF camera with a meter in it, the Leica CL with 40mm. If I prefer a body without a meter, the Leica M4-2 with 50mm lens.
I have both of those as well as many other assorted 35mm, 8x11, and 6x6 film cameras. But what I find myself drawn to using, more and more of the time, is a Polaroid Spectra or SX-70. There's something about how a Polaroid integral film camera sees that is special to my eyes.
