Epson/Cosina are sitting on their corporate hands with the answer at their feet. A FF RD-2 at about $3000 US would be a winner in my book.
Aaaah, yes.

From the user point of view, no. From the marketing department point of view, perhaps so.But i guess taht manul focus aids in the new FF cameras are enough efficient to render any FF RF effort almost useless...

Nobody is going to invest in R&D and tooling to break into a tiny market and then they will have to be cheaper than Leica and just as good.
It will be a cold day in h.... when this happens.
What is the best shotgun, and load, and size of shot, to shoot down pigs in flight?
For those who do not understand that you are supplying an excellent ironic answer to a rhetorical question (i.e. obviously not yourself), I'm asking WHO else is going to introduce a new FF digital RF.. . . But why do you ask this rather specific pig-collectors-question in this thread?

Than you are back to a real RF experience without the mechanical problems of the actual RF solutions.
With a still-not-ready-for-prime-time CDAF system, and a whole new set of lenses that still can't be focused manually using the OVF too? No thanks. It's just a matter of time until Fuji puts out a FF version of their X-Pro1.
With hybrid VF technology it is possible to superimpose the digital PD "RF" patch from the new firmware into the optical path of a new model. This would be an outstanding new manual RF focussing approach in the mirrorless world.
