Interest in Create a Photo Book Swap?

I'm more than willing to host the pdf's on my site. That's no problem. Threads on RFF can get messy (the March Madness one is, to be honest, a bit too crazy for me to even check).

I agree. Threads can get messy and convoluted. A hosting spot would be nice.

I'm in. I use Acrobat pro to do read only proofs for my wedding/studio photos anyway so this will be simple
 
I'm also in, I will use the Open Office progam to make the page.

Here's an idea - do we want to post these on a blog? Or a wiki? That way, I could create member accounts for everyone and we can upload on our own. No need to funnel things through me.

A Blog or something like it would be great. I would love to see others pictures in this format and also the template ideas people come up with. Set it up.

I can do that if one wants. I don't see why we'd want to, but I could. I'll throw up a wordpress instance real fast. We could always just use blogger, too.

I haven't even changed the default links on the right. I can change the look. You can click on my photo blog link in my sig to see the theme I've used for my own blog.

Like i said, I can also use Blogger if people prefer that. Either way, to put up this stuff you'd need to login to post. I have turned on self-registration so you can sign up.

Yay, Allan! Thanks for setting this up. I've been running around today, so I'm in and out, checking RFF as I pass my laptop. I'll check it out tongiht.

Is everyone feeling like they can handle the various PDF conversions?

I'll be making some mods to the blog later tonight. Maybe pick a new theme (perhaps I'll ask this awesome photographer I know to donate an image for the theme...), add a calendar, some links, etc. Pass along requests for changes.

even if we don't end up using the blog the one mouse click it took to set it up was worth it :)

Thanks. Taking the Rolleiflex 2.8E Planar TLR for B&W and Contax G2 w/21, 28 and 45 lenses for color. Hope the weather is interesting.... :p

This sounds like a good idea so please include me. I did register on the site Allan put up but if the location changes to Blogger, that's cool too since I'm already registered there. PDF's are no problem.
