knives and watches and flashlights...oh my!

Never thought it could be dangerous to argue with some member in this forum .
So many warriors!
I bookmarked the thread as a reminder for caution!

I love RFF, an image posted of a girl on a bicycle is howled down as being inappropriate (and absolute rubbish by Simon) and should be removed immediately. Photos and discussion on knives - no problem! I await the gun lovers W/NW thread ...

first time I dared to look at this thread, my heart is still beating faster..NOT because I like knives

Being an old fart whose first pocket knife was given to him by his grandfather over 65 years ago, it's always amazed me how people came to the conclusion that knives are weapons. Everyone carried a pocket knife when I was growing up and they were always useful tools on a daily basis. I even had a switchblade my dad gave me back before laws were passed against them. But thanks to TV and movies and the general atmosphere of paranoia and an increase in the number of people with violent intents, the knife I carry around is now considered dangerous. Hell, I've even had fingernail clippers confiscated at the local Federal Building so why am I surprised.

Some of my dads watches..some of mine..most stuff I've owned for a long time...
