Freestyle is selling their new film called Legacy Pro,
Does anyone have an idea as to what it will possibly
be rebranded as. Since it was Manufactured in Japan,
I wonder...

Wayne,
Thanks but adding more film to the fridge is
not such a good idea for me at this point. I think
Arista Premium prices are much more attractive
and we know what to expect . (Tri-X)

The Legacy Pro films aren't in stock yet. We also know what to expect from Neopan Acros 100 and Neopan 400 and Plus-X. It's all good.

$0.40 and $0.80 per roll is hardly much more attractive. The best news is the return of 100' bulk rolls of both films. Fuji discontinued bulk rolls ages ago. Even the supply in Japan vanished months ago.

Time to resurrect the topic. Anyone with experience ? My is bad, in my opinion Legacy Pro is a junk. If this is a neopan I don't know, what to think. Film base curly, can't make it flat , gaps in emulsion, occasional, factory made light leaks in the middle of the roll etc. Waisted 20 rolls of opportunity. If that's Fuji... by by, Fuji. Emulsion maybe Fuji, but the rest looks like made by producer of Lucky film.
My remarks regards Legacy Pro 100. Did not try 400, and do not want.

I just were going to order bulk LP100 because I liked Acros. LP400 is nice from my experience.

The 100 is Fuji Neopan ACROS. Freakscene has confirmed that the emulsions are identical by mass spectrometry.

Your experience with film defects certainly does not track with mine, or others who have posted. I've had no problems whatsoever with film flatness or with emulsion unevenness or factory light leaks.

Did you contact Freestyle about your problems???

In any case it's a moot point. LP400 is gone, and LP100 will be soon, according to the person I spoke to at Freestyle a couple of days ago.

Maybe I've got really bad batch. Anyway You are right, complains are pointless. Just a lesson for me to stick with what I know and not to try anymore odd home brands. Just frustration.
