That is the strangest lens shade I've ever seen. Do you have a photo of it opened?

Not mine, I saw this at the Newseum in Washington, DC: Nick Ut's camera & lens he used to shoot the Pulitzer Prize-winning photo of children burned by napalm in Vietnam 1972.

This picture was take by him just moment before the "Napalm Girl" photo:

Four decades later, Ut and the girl reunited in California:

Hello Erik, this camera and lens were in storage for three years. I retrieved them a few weeks ago, and brought them with me. I'll share pics soonest.

I need more M4! :D

All bodies and lenses have a fresh CLA, all in mint condition. The original black paint arrived today, the Summicron lens yesterday. Can't wait to go shooting with this new combo! Now I have to decide: Gordys wrist strap or Gordys shoulder strap?

Yes, the Amotal is rangefinder coupled. It was made by TTH for the American "Foton" camera, in 1948. Some of those lenses have recently been remounted for Leica and mirrorless cameras. The optical design is based on the Speed Panchro, also made by TTH, a famous cine lens. Yes, it is a 2" f/2 lens. Certainly very British indeed.

Erik.
