Most stupid show I followed over the internet. Everyone wants to see the products and they present a new member of the Leica hall of fame and now it's coffee break.

Leica tries to prop the photography bit by getting some photographers to talk and making someone part of Leica hall of fame, but everyone following is basically saying where the heck are the products?


Sad and funny, but sad for the photographers invited by Leica.

Those photographers are like props for Leica to use in order to sell its stuff, but hey, those photographers are out of job, and most of them don't mind the free drinks and snacks. lol

I'd definitely go there and tell everyone how great Leica's products are if that means I'd get one of them for free. Ok, let's face it, I would even do that for the snacks and beer...

maybe they will stream the show on their homepage from 9 p.m. CET? At least it looks as if they will reveal some info there...

Highly unlikely. At 9pm CET the Leica page will simply show the new product(s).

The event is on a break, but the person who updates that page is not. he should have offered some anecdotes and stuff i.e. pictures, quotes from speakers... Seriously.

Been a few minutes ago at the Leica site, on internet and it's lit up like the isides of an elephant's stomach. Zone 0 i Ansel Adams language. Dark and mysterious. Well 9:00pm GMT, that's 3:00PM EST, i think, depends if Europe and GMT-UK have daylight saving ..
A Rainbow of color is promised. Yup!
Going out for popcorn..

The insinuation being, if you buy one of the products we're about to show you, you too can take pictures like theirs. It is a marketing presentation, after all. What else would one expect?
