I always wondered why every sentence in every review of an M related product ends in ''if you wear glasses....'' until I saw this thread....
There is a definite positive correlation between leica M's and glasses!

the only thing I don't like with glasses is the 28mm frame,
35mm, 50 and 75 mm are ok,
and even without glasses I can get pretty sharp images.
my MP & M7 are .72 viewfinders

maggie, that is one sweet little lens. I just got one and love it. it is far sharper than I expected. it's diminutive size is the clincher for me.

The more I shoot with it, the more I love it, too. And it makes the M8 practically a pocket camera!

my sentiments exactly, though the summaron on my m2 is even easier to stash in a pocket.

I concur!
Helen, the 2.8 looks a lot bigger than the 3.5 or is that the 'Lux? Is it M-mount? How old is it?

that viewfinder alone should help to identify us. watch out, as I'm apt to shave off all the hair comes the warmer weather. hope to catch you at the next gathering. say, since my wife isn't into shooting, I'm wondering if you and Eric argue over who carries which body and lens? his shots of you are so nice and your shots of everything else ditto, that I'm not sure whose side I root for.
