Hi Helen. Nice to see your doings with Miss Q. I’m curious about the yellow filter use. Have you used it with the camera set to B&W jpeg? Wondering if the effect is similar to using yellow filter with B&W film.

Hey Jamie,
Hello !

as YOU know, yellow filter is Perfect for B&W... makes gradation of greys and blacks so Beautiful
but in Colour Mode, Crazy... often manic yellow greens but in the train ride passing the Landscape, I felt it made the scenery more dream like in colour, a touch surreal and that made me Smile

more experiments toi follow shooting in Colour with yellow filter !

Bottom line with regard to Leica...I am wholeheartedly a LUX Junkie and 21 SA
So Miss Q rocks !
then there is lots of LUV for voigtlander, nikon, canon, zeiss lenses of all sorts too

Trying not to hijack my own thread
Is that possible
Does no one here on RFF own some Q model ....:)

well if someone wants to delete this Thread, fine by Me
certainly not as Fun, if no one wants to contribute photos....

I came close a couple times, 28mm is my fave lens so that was cool, used price got very reasonable, I just don't know why I didn't get one. Now I have a beaut of an M10 (thanks once again) and don't feel the need for one.

No Q in my bag, either, though I’ve often considered a Q2M as a less pricey alternative to the M10M. But I’m now shooting 50 more often than not, and my GR III still gets its turn. But keep your Q pics coming; always a pleasure to see you here and enjoy your work.

Hi Helen, nice to see you on RFF :)

I have no Q but I took in the past some B&W photo with the M10 and a yellow filter (shot as DNG) and later converted, to mono somehow a more traditional use.

I like the fact you are experimenting with your Q beyond the conventional use of the camera, please keep the photos coming! Your opening photo with the "weird" colors and that blurred building and tree in foreground could be the beginning of a story...love it!
