Spectacular work here! I adore colors, light and wonderful balance these all seem to have. Would make an amazing photo book.

In my opinion, many of these images have a very nice human quality to them. You obviously have a respectful manner and a real appreciatinon people. However, the highlights in many of these images are on the verge of blowing out, also the grain is very prominent, especially given you are using 100 ISO film. Perhaps the harsh grain is due to scanning technique. Also, the color balance is not consistent - some of the skin tones do not look natural. I think the image quality could be improved quite a bit with post processing and careful attention to saturation, curves, etc. The high contrast and over-saturation in the skin tones in some of the images really takes away from the atmospheric quality.

Thanks Santtu, drinkinngeye and Pablito....
Hello Pablto, I am not skilled in photoshop... I took a course back at Berkeley about 8 years ago, but I never really use it or adjust anything on my photos... I have a black and white darkroom/lab 4 doors down from me, and I am pretty good at printing black and white prints... I have a couple of good post processing friends here in Bangkok and back in San Francisco, and when it comes time to make some prints and put a book together, I will leave it up to them to do the post processing... thanks for your comments and suggestions, I appreciate that....

For this trip, I tried to shoot a little "different" and I wanted to challenge myself.......not sure if it shows through in these photos, or not, but....regardless, I had an excellent time.........

Hi Michael, I like these photos a lot. Also, like the grain, and exposure. It is evident that some of the images show some film, developing, exposure, scan, etc. imperfections, but I'm glad they look the way they do, and aren't photoshopped to perfection or converted to b/w for artsiness. I'm probably in the minority here though.

Thanks ampguy for your positive feedback, I really appreciate it....I see the "dust marks, blown highlights, color saturation etc...) and I know the photos need some post processing and a little love from a photoshop expert.......that is not me, I am content that I got the photos that I wanted and once I decide to put something together, I will have somebody ( an expert) do all the post processing for me......
