Cal, you don't have any problems taking pictures a that bridge, last time I was down
there some eastsider was yelling at me to stop taking pictures of that bridge or she
would call a cop!, I just took it and walked away, and talking about bosses I feel you pain.

I can be a real jerk sometimes on purpose, but when someone kind of gets in my face and hostile, I tent to say I'm sorry and that I didn't mean no harm, or other times I compliment them if it happens to be a street shot by saying that they looked cool and I was just compelled to take the shot.
BTW it was on September 11th 2010 when I scurried like a cockroach and hid in the shadows to evade a NYPD helicopter. I was trespassing and it was not easy avoiding not getting arrested, especially while carrying two medium format cameras.
Another time was detaind by three NYPD detectives but was not arrested. Again I was trespassing, but the vacant lot had no postings nor any fence to bar access and it was in another remote area. If you see something say something came into effect I figure because it was likely that a hipster couple dialed 911 because they saw something unusual: a Chinese guy with a ponytail and a camera.
Also was publicly degraded and humiliated by a sargant in front of his squad, basically a van load of cops. I just happen to be in a remote part of LIC on yet another September 11th with a Rolliflex, but I was not even taking a picture. The van full of cops stopped and some rookie in the passenger seat motioned for me to come over. The interagation first began with a "What are you doing here?" and my response was walking around with a camera, but because I was near the raised part of the LIE the sargant in the driver's seat started degrading me. It began with the question, "Do you know what day it is?" and ended with the sargant repeating, "What were you thinking?" again and again.
If you come to the Meet-Up I will have an enlargment that was taken with my Tele Rollieflex on the September 11th when I was chased by the NYPD Helicopter.
Anyways so far I haven't been waterboarded yet.
