I shoot this view now and again. It is from a high point on US 101 between Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The village on the beach is Manzanita and what you see is a glimpse of the beautiful Oregon coast. The camera is a Leica M9 with the magic '42 CZJ 5cm f/1.5. I have been told by Sonnar experts that this series of CZJ Sonnars seems to have been sprinkled with pixie dust. The more I use this the more I am convinced of the truthfulness of this. It is a hazy day in the pic but the view is still a good one.
And this, again with the M9 + '42 CZJ f/1.5. I just liked the light and dark on the hulls. These are fishing boats moored to unload catch at one of the two fish processing plants, Da Yang, in the Astoria West Mooring Basin.
Just another trite sunset pic. I looked up and saw this out the window so I grabbed the camera and shot it. M240 + Skyllaney Bertele 5cm f/2.0 @ f/2.0. Nice corona around the lights contrasting against the sunset. This is the view from my back door from where I shot it.
