Oil on a Wrinkled Shutter of a Canon 7 or P

I'm in the market for a Canon 7 or P for my son. I know wrinkled shutters on Canon 7 and P rangefinders are to be expected and don't usually effect performance. Does the addition of oil on a wrinkled shutter have any effect?

Can't you remove the oil with lighter fluid, acetone, of lacquer thinner on a cotton tipped swab?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't bought the camera yet. I just wanted to know if it was a problem.

I doubt oil on the shutter will effect it's performance, but you got to ask yourself if it's symptomatic of some other problem.
