There's dozens out there just waiting for you. Most of them with a dead battery in them and a half used film. But all priced very stupidly because no one wants them.
Keep an eye open for them and you'll be surprised. But do check the battery compartment.
By the mid 90's most of them, in the hands of an idiot, could get most shots just right. And most of them had very good lenses in them. Look carefully and you'll find them with EV compensation (usually a +1 or +2 adjustment and hidden in the flash or mode sequence). Another useful feature is a "landscape" mode that works through windows etc and isn't distracted by reflections as it's either focussed on infinity or a hyper-focal setting.
To be safe, carry a couple of batteries with you to check them (CR2 and CR123) are the most popular ones needed.
