This fast lens produces very pleasing modern looking results in the photos.

This fast lens produces very pleasing modern looking results in the photos.

It can have a modern look, especially when stopped down. It also has some character when shot wide-open. I recently bought a Zeiss 50mm Planar but still plan to keep the Canon, it is quite nice for portraits and low-light situations.
