Pictures taken with Zeiss glass

Zeiss 135mm APO Sonnar f2. Mid day sun, back light over open water of Lake Pontchartrain. No fill. One of the best lenses I've ever used for shooting backlit portraits. In my experience, most other lenses would have produced a very low contrast, washed out image with tons of flare under these conditions.

Agree this lens is a gem. But, oh! my aching back. 😳

Leica IIIc, Zeiss Jena Sonnar 5cm f1.5 LTM (1943), TMax 400 @ iso 200 in Perceptol:
