I'm looking for some help here. My MP3 came with a 50mm summilux that has a 43mm filter size. I also bought a 24mm f2.8 that has a 55mm filter size. As it happens, I have a Universal M polarizer that can fit 39-46-49mm threads but not the 43mm or 55mm. Is there any way I can use my universal M polarizer? If not, is there a way to use a polarizer on the lenses I have?

Time to search ebay and all the used camera places.

Leica made a swing out polarizer for the 43 mm size in the past. Basically it looks like the new universal polarizer, with a fixed hood added, and the 43mm ring is part of the polarizer body vs. the seperate ring of the newer universal.

The part number was 13351 if I remember correctly.

It looks like this picture of the 39mm variation # 13352 which I borrowed from Sherry Krauter's site.
