re: the "click" of an electro gt
hello all, i've been lurking for a while, but have question for you..
i've read all about the POD problem of the electros. the shutter on my GT would stick a bit when depressed, but pop up none the less. then when advancing the film, i'd hear the signature "click"...good good
then, in the middle of a roll, the shutter release stopped sticking and i stopped hearing the "click." essentially the camera acts like any other camera. smooth shutter release and quiet film advance....so i was nervous about the rest of the roll....no "click" = POD, right?
HOWEVER, all of the pictures came out just fine. now, i'm not one to complain about something working, but i'm curious if there's a reason for this. maybe i have too much "internet education 😱 " on the subject, because in the middle of my trip to spain i stopped hearing the "click/thunk/thud/thwack/etc" and immediately thought, "POD, i'm ruined"
what say you?
cheers
