Sellers Regret... What have you sold that you miss?

Regret selling my 35mm f1.4 ASPH and 21mm f2.8 ASPH. I sold them cheap, and haven't re-bought either.

Slightly regret selling my 70-180 Vario-Elmarit, but, it was a pretty heavy lens.

I have a fairly serious stash of good glass at the moment that needs thinning out. Unfortunately, my collection includes lot of hard-to-find and sought-after Voigtländer lenses which will be expensive and hard to replace if I ever want them back.

Most of my Nikkor's are so well used that they are not worth the time and effort to try to sell, so I will not be bothered selling any of them, so do not have to worry about regrets on that front.

So no regrets just yet... but I am sure they will come soon enough.

I do regret not buying that pair of Noct-Nikkor 58mm f1.2's about 10 years ago for $1200!

The "regret" is only regarding usage and not ownership or collecting.

Regrets? I've had a few. But then again, too few to mention ... 😀

I miss my M2 and 35mm Summicron v. IV, but they helped fund gear that I currently have that suit me well, so I don't regret selling them.

I do regret selling a Plaubel Makina 67, though. Both times. 😱

How about a '66 Mustang fastback 2+2 w/ V8 and 4 speed that I sold for, gulp, $700. Or the '50 Ford w/ flathead V8, duals, and swinging mirror dice that I traded for a Honda 600 coupe. We won't mention the two Hawaii condos.

As for cameras, a Leicaflex SL w/ 50 Summicron. I bought another one, but it just didn't feel the same, so I sold it too. Probably the worst idea I had was to sell that Bessa II w/ coated Heliar lens. That thing took great photos!

The one lens I sold that I intend to own again is the 35 UC-Hexanon.
I miss my 50 lux and 75 lux, but if I owned them today, I would most likely sell them again.
