Fugi FinePix 1400 zoom (inexpensive Digital for taking for sale pictures)

Frank: You and I are not that different from other people here in the RFF. We accumulate camera stuff and we know deep inside that we don't actually "need" so many lenses and cameras for photography purposes. We become collectors of users items.Then we fear that selling them off would result in financial loss. So we are stuck. However, if many people are "stuck", we could arrange this "unstucking month" [he he] and we can then let things go knowing that they would go to nice people here. Compare this process to selling on ebay! Yeeeek.

In my case, I am trying to be reasonable. I got a Nikkor 85mm/2.0 from Roland, so why keep half a dozen additional similar focal length lenses? It is impractical. I love my beautiful shiny and sharp Canon 85mm/1.9 lens, but can I actually use that many lenses effectively?

The same goes for my beautiful [I see all lenses I own as beautiful] Olympus XA and Minox GT. I have depended on both cameras in important trips overseas and they both never failed me. However, I may be getting a Contax T. Why would I then need the XA and GT?

Joe,

As long as people can use discrete pm's to reach agreements on items there should be no need to move things to the Classified. This is an important point raised by Joe, so let's stay away from posting any asking prices here.

I will also consider selling these items:

Graflex XLW MF camera with the sharp Schneider 47mm/8 lens. This lens is very sharp and I am lucky to have found a good 47mm/8 lens. The focal length is equivalent to 21mm on a 35mm camera. I have 3 backs for it (6x7,6x8, 6x9). The lens has a Graphlex specia filter/lens hood that does not vignette. It is great for street photography since it is small and light.


The other camera is heavier; a Linhof Color Kardan 45S with Schneider convertible lens.

I also will let go the hard to find Pentax 17mm/4 fisheye lens in K mount.

This is sooooooooooooo much fun! Now I can tell my wife that "I'm trying".

I don't use it as much as I should and it should probably go to someone who'll use it more...(and I lust after 35mm lux asph 🙂)

Can I join in?

I just bought an M4-P so I have a Bessa R2A, Oly RD (just cleaned) for sale or trade. All in great shape. I also have a nonworking Yashicamat TLR. The shutter is stuck and the focus seems to be off a bit. I will take an offer on it. I would like it to go to someone who can fix it. I just haven't gotten round to putting this stuff up for sale yet.


I am looking for a fast 50mm f/1.8, f/1.5 or f/1.4 that is in great shape. I have been looking at the Canon 50s and have yet to find one at a decent price. They get snatched up too quickly. I might consider a CV 50mm f/1.5 if the price is right.

I am also looking for a:
Leica CL with a working meter. (I have always wanted to try one of these.)
28mm f/2.8 M-Rokkor
90mm f/4 M-Rokkor
Nice sharp 35mm focal length. Maybe a CV f/2.5 or f/1.7
 
OK, I need to psych myself up to this, but as of now it looks like:

Bessa R silver
35/2.5 Classic black
FSU 20mm finder

I imagine I'll come up with some other stuff, some non-RF.

I've got a Luigi case for M cameras in the classifieds now.

I'm also planning on selling the following:
-Collapisble Summicron
-GIII QL19
-Kiev 4 with J8

The only thing I think I want is a DR Summicron (with eyes).
