A certain "J W Watanake" signed the rear with his/her stamp, I'll be in touch if it doesn't shoot well ;)

Gentlemen, It feels good!

The best, early, Birthday gift I've got myself in a few years ;)
Really enjoying the system, especially the 35/1.8 gorgeous lens.
I'm cleaning 50 years of paper tape off my 135 hood this morning, unusually fun.

Congrats! A gorgeous find. I like your strap, what is that?

Its one of my home made straps, I'm designating it as the "Classic".
Tom suggested, in my post on his sub forum, that I make a few and possibly sell them.
So I've been quietly working away on a new design, adjustable with a smaller split ring.

My Nikon SP 2005 reissue/W-nikkor C f3.5 & brand new SONY A7/W-Nikkor 2.5cm f4 for Digital Nikon RF photography!

How do you like the W-Nikkor-C 35/3.5? I have one but haven't had chance to try it yet - I'm waiting on a Nikon adapter.

This is with the Nikkor 35mm f3.5. It is a late production lens, black. I compare it with lenses like the Summaron 35f3.5 and the Planar 35f3.5. The Planar has a it on an edge when it comes to sharpness - and the Nikkor is lighter.
Nikon S3 Millennium chrome, Kodak +X movie stock (EK 5231), rated at 100 iso and developed in Beutler developer for 7 minutes. Old shot as I have not gotten around to the Nikkor 5mm f3.5 yet in the 2014 Nikon Rangefinder Month. This is from the 2011 Nikkor Rangefinder Month.

Thanks Tom for the information and image. I feel a little guilty posting on this thread because I won't be buying a Nikon RF anytime soon but will be using the Nikkor 35/3.5 with an Amedeo adapter on a L**** or stopped down on a Con***. I'm really looking forward to using it now between your image and those of Goliathus.
Cheers,
Nick

As per usual - at the end of a Nikon Rangefinder Month - there are these cameras with film still in them, as well as the rolls to be "souped" Today I managed to finish off 3 more rolls - Sakura Festival at the local Botanical Garden (Van Dusen). But as it is April they don't qualify anymore - so they will go to the "general" Flickr sites.
This shot has so far gotten 30 000+ hits on Flickr. In itself not a big deal, but lets hope some of the viewers are gripped by that lust for Nikon rangefinders and can be added to the net Rangefinder Month.

Small delivery of Nikon cassettes. As usual they were full of dust from the foam disintegrating in the bottom of the holders. They do wash easily, provided you allow plenty of time for the felt to dry out.

This arrived about 2 weeks ago, 50mm f1.5 Nokton asph.
I now have 3 50's for the S3, none of them a Sonnar oddly enough.

Finally! My S3!

Finally! My S3!

Okay, I believe (hope! pray!) I have finally figured out how to post an image, so here goes.

(Ta-dah!) My newly acquired, first ever Nikon rangefinder, an S3 with 5cm 1.4.

I adore her, and am in the process of selecting an appropriate name.

Hope this works!
