As some of you know, I asked for advice if Nikon S is better that Contax IIa. Some of you recommended me S2. And here it is.

S2 with Nikkor H 2/50 along with my trusty F. Now it's time for 35mm lens :D

Does anybody know how to indicate year of manufacture basing on SN?

Sorry to ask a newby question: got a 1.8/35mm recently and a S3 2000 for it.
Is there a way to block the frames of longer focal lengths on a S 2000?

The 35mm frame is just perfect (as on a 0.85 M, only that pushing into the eye socket for a complete view is not nevessary) and since I do not use this camera for short distances I don't miss parallax correction. The focus wheel is modern and a pleasure to use. The lens is a dream come true, but the viewfinder could be... hmm: less cluttered imo. I'm looking for help not for being flamed, it is Christmas :)

Got my second Micro-Nikkor 5cm F3.5, The unbeatable 50mm!

Found one for sale in the UK, downside: £4,995 :bang:

Now, if you have deep pockets, but not so deep you just buy all three, there are two other contenders 5cm f1.1 in external £5,850 and one internal mount £5,750. And BTW who decides one is worth 1.7% more than the other?

Of course there is always the Ilford Witness on that auction site for £13,000, I could save the £10 P&P as I'm an hour away from the dealer and you do get a lens in the bundle.

Thanks for the information but sadly now I got a big hole in my pocket
Even I'm thinking of selling another Micro 5cm f3.5. :bang: If you interested please send me a PM.

Park Sang In you are making me more and more curious about this lens.
And I thought I had long ago stopped spending on Nikon rf!

I wish you a great 2016.
