Having just gotten a very nice example of the Elmar (coated, from 1951), I decided to resurrect this thread with a few shots from my first roll of HP5+, developed in Caffenol C-H(RS).

You guys and gals are always talking about which lens is better or sharper or better color rendition or whatever. The 50mm Elmar that I have used for over 50 years still is my favorite 35mm lens. Maybe it is like a girlfriend that never did you wrong.

Ha! The only downside to old lenses…..Maybe a little more speed?
