Hi Wai Yong,

Are you interested in the CV accessories that I am selling for your R2? The price is negotiable for local RFF members. 🙂

Regards,
Peter

Wai yong all that is missing is....

Leica Leica Leica.....

=-)

Do you know how to repair the Electros?
I've got one at home too, want to have a 4th?

My GSN is possibly on the blink too. Everything seems to light up and exposure readings seem correct. I'm currently shooting a test roll but it's taking forever to finish. The shutter speeds don't sound quite right to me though. Low light, good light... the shutter seems to go off sounding the same. And it smells like mothballs...

Hey Peter, I have 2 shots from the healing service posted in my gallery. The lab which I sent to did a pretty decent job on the scan. I think I'm going to send my negs to them from now on. Too bad he can't do the pano negs from the TX-2 though 🙁

Hi people, I'm very interested in acquiring either an R2A or R3A. Am undecided over 35 or 40. anyone knows of anywhere i can try them out?

The scans look great! Where did you get it done? The photos have very good documentary value. Please inform me when they are in town again!

Terence has a R2A, maybe you could meet up with him to take a look at it?

A cup of kopi is all i ask 🙂

Email me, would be glad to let u have a hands on on the R2a, fantastic little body. I'd definitely get the R2a over the 3a primarily because there are a whole lot more lenses in the 35mm length than there are 40mm. The R3 would be great for a second body and also it's 1x viewfinder if you intend to use longer lenses like the 75 or 90.

It was from a contact in CS. Kinda far from your place but if you're ever in the East (Center of the Universe), you can check out...

The owner is Boonwei, nice chap who also shoots RF (Xpan). He charges $6/roll (or 6x35mm strips) which is very reasonable compared to other commercial labs. Scans are around 3300 pixels x (7-9mb/file). He could do higher res but I think it's a higher charge. I'll be sending in 10 rolls in the next few days as I'm quite satisfied with the 2 test rolls I sent in to check on his quality.

Now now Terence don't be naughty...BUTT I know u cannot resist.
$6 sounds great! My regular store charges me $3 for processing and $10 for scans including CD. The scan quality not that good also leh...
Must look for him when I get home.

no leica no leica.

Terence, if shutter speeds off it could be faulty rubber pad. that I can change. its if the little transistor or resistor thingamajigs that if are perished, I have trouble with due my poor physics - cant understand the electrical schematics on-line.
also havent had time to go to sim lim to get them electrical thingys

bring on the electro nick, one more never hurt anyone 😀
this is seriously affecting my reading........I seem to fit criteria for ADHD

Alas adult ADHD is rare. Much more likely to be hypomania.... =-)

Wai Yong, you sound like you're pretty handy with a soldering iron... I'm impressed, I couldn't load a roll of film properly until 2 months ago. Once I get that test roll finished, I'll take a look at the results and figure if there's anything wrong with it, I might need the assistance of your Fix-An-Electro service.

Breakaway... I just picked up a R3a today so you have the choice of viewing any of the 3 bodies to look see.
