Shouldn't have gone out with the boys the night before I guess.

Actually that was about 10am and the wind had kicked up pretty well by then.
Lol, looks to me like i'm the only one WITH a hairdo.
Great shots, Chris. I won't get my roll back until Friday. I hope to get them posted before the Hassie steal the show!!

Glad you guys had a good time -- sorry I couldn't join for this one. (I think during your outing I was taking pictures of my nephew's soccer game (SLR stuff).

I never did make it to the tractor. I was sidetracked by the corn stalks.
Great shots, Peter. That third shot has me thinking of a 135...

Right Nowheresville.
Route 49 from Sterling to Stonington. Just east of 395.

Thanks, Ralph. Indeed, rather the middle of nowhere! But you found some good subjects nonetheless.

It is a good thing that we got together last Saturday because the weather in New England this Saturday is awful! To celebrate today's lousy weather I give you some lousy Holga pictures from last weekend.
Holga 120N on expired Kodak Portra 160. Photos 2, 3 and 4 were taken in North Scituate, RI on my way back home from CT.
This was my first "successful" roll from the Holga. I ruined the first roll trying to load and unload the camera
; then I put it away for a while.
Some initial Holga-centric observations:
1. The exposures were not nearly as bad as I thought they might be;
2. The celebrated "Holga Vignetting" was much less severe than anticipated;
3. The celebrated "Holga light leaks" did not materialize (to be fair, I kept the camera in my pocket most of the time).
4. Using the Holga is liberating and fun; you never have to worry about shutter speed, aperture or critical focus. The camera also weighs next to nothing.
5. Loading and unloading the Holga is a PITA.
6. I wish I would have brought the Holga to Paris with me.
Enjoy the rest of the wet weekend, folks!

That Holga stuff is not bad at all Chris!
Hmmm, maybe I should get one of those things...
Ray I love the look you got in that shot. Can't wait for more. I have never used Velvia - does it normally give a sort of rich saturated look or is that post-processing?

Thanks. Yes, Peter, velvia gives very (over) saturated colors. All I am doing is adjusting levels, and a touch of sharpening. This is my first time to shoot with velvia as well, and after looking at the slides (too bad the scans really don't do them justice), I think I will need to get a used projector.
Here are a couple more, with the CV 21/4.

Wow that is a wild film Ray! I really like the one with the red leaf & berries (I think). That sky color is amazing too. As Chris said earlier did we make the right decision on which day or what? It is pouring here!

Thanks, Peter. We definitely did. The weather here is terrible as well.
I have a log on the fire, a glass of Talisker, and Mikey waiting for me to start the "Omen" remake (he is a horror fan). Got to adapt to the weather.

I don't have high hopes for mine. I was really dragging, the first roll I scanned from my T were not great, I have to learn how to use that meter, or use handheld. I wanted to process this morning, but I scanned that old stuff.
