Travelling with a RF, what are you packing?

my "standard" carry round kit is a LowePro D-Res30AW bag, which just fits in it the M6, 35 cron, 90 elmar collapsible, 3 rolls of film, and a couple of spare batteries. That's pretty much what I carry everywhere with me.

When I went to Rio de Janeiro in January for a one month stay, I brought with me my Konica Hexar AF as main camera and two small compact cameras with different character and features, Lomo LC-A and Olympus mju-II.
I used the Hexar AF most and I'm very happy with the quality of the pictures I made with it. The Lomo got much use too, Brasil is a colorful and a great place for saturated Lomo pictures with strong vignetting.
I recommend the Oly Mju-II, it is very good and compact with great sharp f2.8 lens and a spot meter. The spot meter was good to have on many occasions! Only annoying things about oly mju-II is the auto flash, which I always had to turn of, and the noise of the film winding forward.

The last Cambodia trip involved the following kit:

M4, M6, 50 lux, 35 lux, 50/elmar
Nikon S3, Nikkor 35/2.5
Plaubel Makina 670
Fuji GW 690III
Pentax Dig spot meter
Goosen Sixomat
Tripod and as much 35 and 120 film as i could carry.

All fitted into two "carry on" bags Domke F6 and an old CSS photobackpack.

On shoot days i'd work with either bag depending on what i was shooting leave the rest of the kit secured in my room using Paksafes

Ideally i'd just like to work with two M bodies and the two luxes but it never seems to work out this way - not if i'm working with 120 as well.

Great thread! My RF kit currently consists of a Bessa R and a Jupiter 3.

No matter where I am going I usually have room for that setup. The only dilemma I face is what film to bring (which has lately been Neopan 1600 because I find myself in the dark often, and because the Bessa has that useful 1/2000 shutter speed). The Jupiter 3 is great because it's very compact and very fast. The Bessa is a good travel camera because it's light, has a great viewfinder and I trust its meter.

If I don't have that, then I always have my camera phone, which is a joke but it captures memories nevertheless. Ideally I would like to have a Leica MP + a compact 28 (like the CV) and a fast 50mm, that would be travel heaven!
