To Light & Love ...
Just bought this lens, and went with my girlfriend to Golden Gate Park this weekend to try it out. Shot a roll of Tri-X, developed in HC-110 B, and I'm absolutely blown away by the Nokton. For the price, it's a stunning lens. A few pics:

Danny, you're making the Nokton sing with the same kind of magic you bring to the C Sonnar 50!

I'm switching my posts from the "M-Nokton Underrated?" to this one. Wish the threads could be merged because they are both a testament to this lens' capabilities.
Here is one at 2.8 on XP2. This is from the MC version.

I'm a new M6 owner, and this lens is the only I've got so far. I love the compact and speed for such a reasonable price!

I'm getting surprisingly punchy colors from mine. Better than I expected, and I'm spoiled by the amazing Contax G lenses.
However, i'm also quite happy with the BW rendering. I was searching for an SC copy but settled for MC when I got a good deal on a used one, but after seeing the results on XP2 I don't feel like I'm sacrificing too much in terms of delicate tonal range.

I just love the handling of this lens...the more I use it, the more I like it. I was hesitant when I bought it, but I have no regrets now. Simply wonderful.

Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f1.4 a good lens? Show me your photos!
Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f1.4 a good lens? Show me your photos!
This was the first lens I bought when I purchased my first Leica. I read not so nice reviews about it. However, I like its performance. If not 100% wide open, stopped down a bit. What do you think, do you care to share your photos with this lens? Here are some samples taken with the M9:
