W/NW Photographing With Cellphones ...

These are very beautiful ! Looks like you used "natural pin-hole effect" here ? I tried myself with a simple pinhole but was not successful ... too cloudy in the West of Tokyo.

Thanks! This was the high contrast black and white setting on my Nokia Lumia 900. I enhanced the blacks and cropped to square in Lightroom.

I had to decide to post this here instead of in the "panorama" thread.
My new phone will stitch three shots into a pano. I made two of those and stitched the result with Microsoft's I.C.E. Then converted that to BW to take care of some odd color banding in the water.
Pretty happy with the result:

I might go back and lighten the left side a bit but I want to also keep the people as silhouettes...there is more detail in the original file but I do like this version.

My wife and I visited her great uncle yesterday, he's 95 years old. I wasn't thrilled about driving 5 1/2 hours to get there but I went along for the journey anyway. I didn't take a camera along, I now wished I had though, so I snapped these with my iPhone and the instagram app. I know they're over processed and won't find the approval of a lot of folks here but I think they fit the mood well, besides...I like them!

J.B. says he stays in bed a good part of the day due to getting 'the vertigo' a while back, it's safer that way.

J.B. was a preacher man all his life, he never lets us leave without a mini-sermon of some sort. It was a good visit and although I didn't bring a 'proper' camera I think my cell phone worked well in a pinch.
