An absolutely mint, maybe unused, Canon VI-T rangefinder. Get it in a few days.

Glad you decided to buy it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this lens.
Be sure to post some images taken with it.

Socks and Lagavulin 16. And as is tradition for us, my wife made a book of photos I took through the year. I always look forward to her work - both picking the photos to use and how she decides to order them in the book.

I've been keeping an eye open for one of these for some time now but they are out of my budget. I have a newly CLA'd 35f/2 which I have mixed feelings about it so I was wondering about the 28f2. The zuiko 28f/3.5 I have is a stellar little lens - makes upgrading much more difficult to justify.
Please post a review or an option about it when you can.

Why the mixed feelings? Is it the later Made in Japan model, or the earlier Japan?

Will do, Pan. I'll PM you when I've got something to say about it, probably in the Zuikaholic thread. Should be about a week.

It is the earlier Japan version (s/n 137xxx). Excellent at f5.6-f8, good at f/4, mediocre at f/2.8 and unacceptable for me (for a pro lens at this price) at f/2. Luton cameras have serviced it with a slight improvement as a result but not too much.

Looking forward to it.

Fate was kind to me this year. Scored an immaculate Voigtländer Ultramatic for $80. It doesn't work of course but I like a challenge so we shall see. Its 50mm Septon and accompanying 200mm Super Dynarex will be put to good use on my Bessamatic in any case. Also a tidy M3, 50mm Summarit @ 90mm Elmar. The M3 needs some work but its finder is good and the price was right. I'm also glad your dog made it through Kevin! Dogs are the best.
