What have you just BOUGHT?

I wasn't planning on making this purchase so soon but I just got a 43mm for my Mamiya 7. It came from Japan, and the price was really quite good. Had to be done.

A Nikon FM2n from KEH in black, BGN condition. Works perfectly, and I can't find a mark on it! It looks like new out of the box!

210 f6.6 Kern Arau Apo-Repro on Makiflex Standard.

210 f6.6 Kern Arau Apo-Repro on Makiflex Standard.

Here's an interesting one. Years ago I bought this Kern-Arau 210mm f6.6 Apo-Repro lens, and mounted it to a Sinar Norma board. Decided to re-mount it to a Plaubel Peco Jr board, as it will get more use on my Makiflexes. Quite a bit of metal cutting was required to build this unit. The 210mm f6.6 Kern-Arau is quite rare, and I'm really glad that I have it. Here it is, with the Makiflex Standard focused at infinity.

Last month I upgraded my old EOS 450D to a brand new 6D. While I usually favour primes over zooms, I kept a Sigma 70-300 handy for occasions like spying on neighbours or the odd super moon shot.

But that one's really doing me no favours on the 6D, so I figured I'd upgrade. After a month of reading reviews, weighing pros and cons, I settled on the affordable Canon 70-200 F4L lens, non IS version.

Since it's only an occasional use lens, I didn't want to go full out with the expenses. It does what I need during the daytime and while F4 isn't the fastest, combined with the good low light performance of the 6D and the fact that I'm not afraid to use a tripod… it'll be sufficient. It's one heck of a bargain in regards to the build quality and sharpness of the glass.

I'm expecting delivery tomorrow.

Yashica 50mm f/1.7 ML lens in C/Y mount, to go with the FR + winder I bought on a whim last week. Hopefully all should be waiting at the office for me when I go back to work next week.

Genuine Leica leather camera strap in Jaguar Racing Green. Beauty!

Leica Tele-Elmarit-M 2.8/90. A real WOW-lens!

I just bought a Nikon F with FTN from KEH in BGN condition for 69 dollars. I guess the meter still works, but am unable to test that out since I can't find the batteries. The camera itself looks used, but barely. Love KEH!
