A Leica M240 ... probably the most expensive photography purchase I'll ever make. So far no regrets.![]()
Gulp!
Should be perfect for your style.

I learned a lot about large format (and LF envy) last year in helping a widow market her husband's jawdroppingly extensive Linhof Super Technika V kit. It did not sell here, but fetched her asking price through LF Forum.
So when a basic (=carryable in one hand) V kit with 150 Schneider/parallax VF showed up in Portland last week for 1/10 the cost of that $9K sale, I put my LF envy to rest.

what?
Recently, a Fujifilm XE1+zoom kit, then the 27mm, then accessories (thumb grip, grip grip, soft release), hoods, stepping rings, filters. The Nikon has been assigned pinhole service and the X100 is glaring at me with green eyes.

Bought a 28mm f3.5, a 105mm f2.5, and a 200mm f4 - all non-AI Nikkors to use on my Df. Sent the 28 and 105 along with a 55mm f3.5 Micro-Nikkor off to John White to have them converted to AI.

I just bought the Lytro Illum. Interesting gadget - interesting approach to photography but, so fa, I don' think the IQ isn't worth it. Sigma's Merrill sensors really spoiled me.

Three Leica IXMOO reloadable film cassettes with matching screw-top cases. Not bad for £9.

10 yrs ago, I sold my Hexar AF when getting into competitive rifle shooting. Man that thing had a sharp lens, and I loved the silent mode.
So I bought another one.
