What have you just BOUGHT?

CV Spirit finder ..... with only about 10% of the fluid left in the bubble, so it was useless. Sent back to seller ........ and they never offered to fix or return.

More Impossible Project film ... they had a 15% off sale for World Photo Day. Three packs each for Spectra and 600, all B&W.

A Black Chrome M4 (from 1974) and a 28mm Elmarit V4. I'll post photos soon as I have 'em. Now looking for a good deal on a black 28mm finder.

A Topcon Uni with the 53mm f/2 UV Topcor from a charity shop in Edinburgh. Camera was very slow to react to the shutter button and the shutter wasn't closing before the exposure (it's a leaf shutter SLR !) but that seems to be all fixed now. Just the slightly lazy aperture to look at now.

Picked up a cheap Tower 45 in need of a new shutter curtain (one has a slice down the middle). Other than the curtain, it seems to be in good working condition.

Now that I've had a chance to handle it a bit and get a sense of the ergonomics, I have to make a call on if I see it becoming a common user before I put any money in to it or if I should pass it on as is. I'm leaning towards having it repaired; it was inexpensive enough that I could still break even if I decided it wasn't for me later.

Went a little nuts....
A good copy of the Mamiya 55-110AF from the classifieds,
The CV Notkon 35mm 1.4 from Camera Quest,
a vented hood for the Notkon from my local guy,
about 50 rolls of assorted film and a couple boxes of Ilford paper,

Also, 3D printed a pinhole camera and 120 film case (both work great!),

...and a nice dinner for the wife so she doesn't leave me.... :D

Another Argus Brick.
A Daci box camera.
10 rolls of Repackaged and expired Fuji Superia 100 135/24
Gossen Poly-six meter
And an old heavy duty pan head for my old wooden tripod

A Rolleiflex 2.8C for about $110 off ebay. It's in the mail right now - half of the cost was shipping to Australia!. It looked quite dirty, but hopefully it'll clean up well :p

An uncoated Summar from 1936 ...

Test-run using my M3. Luckily the Elmar 90/4 filter fits the Summar also (E34). :)

A book I've wanted ever since I first saw it in the public library in 1974. I found a copy of Irving Penn's "Worlds In A Small Room" for a cheap price on Amazon

Just bought a 6x4.5 negative carrier for my Beseler 23CIII enlarger. I've looked for one in good shape at an affordable price for a good while but they have continued to elude me until now. I can finally retire my homemade carrier which worked fine even if it was not easy to use.

I now have 35mm (several), 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x9 (roll and cut film) so I have all cameras except 9x12 covered.
