I'm expecting delivery of a 50 Rigid Version 1 from Frocal Point. I had John recoat the front element and overhaul the lens to clean out the haze. I originally bought this lens about 5 years ago for only $499.00 as a mispricing.
What I love about this old lens is the distance scale on my Rigid is marked in feet only.

I had John do a rigid Summicron V1 for me years ago, and I was absolutely delighted with the results.
Like a new lens, really.
Topcor was made by Topcon, a postwar mfgr of lenses, later part of Beseler. Think Topcon Super D. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TopconCanon VT with 50mm f1.2 lens and correct shade in its correct leather case.
Canon VT in original box with leather camera ER case in its box, as new. Camera has a Topcor 3.5cm f2.8 lens with cap-anybody know about this lens?
Another f/2.8 Summaron... and a 1935, LNIB, 135mm Elmar, truly LN and with the original red carton box. This will complete my set of the black III, 28mm Hektor, nickel Summar, 90 mm black Elmar.
Cal, I think you will like this lens a lot, it's brilliant. And on the rare side, especially in silver finish. Only 2000 of these (800 silver, 1200 black) were made. The initial retail price in Japan was about $1385. The lens shows a bit of barrel distortion.A chrome 43/1.9 Pentax-L with 43/50 finder, box, LTM adapter and caps.
This lens is kinda perfect with my 0.85 MP with the 75mm frames stripped out. the 43mm frames are the entire frame so the external VF'er isn't needed.
