This past week I picked up a box of assorted cameras & stuff for $20. It included a clean Pentax K1000 with 50 2.0 lens. A beautiful Konica Auto S3 , with corroded battery wires and frozen aperture linkage, easily repaired and now working great. That odd fixed lens Nikon SLR with a broken advance linkage. A working Canon auto focus P&S. A Richo auto focus P&S that was eaten alive from leaking batterys. And a Hasselblad bright screen still in its packaging with the original retail sticker price of $300. I am thinking of adapting it to my Bronica. Almost forgot, there was a Yashica 50 1.9 lens too.
I also picked up a nice looking Konica Auto S for $5. It had a frozen aperture diaphram and very dirty rangefinder. It was an easy fix but required a full disassemble because I loosened the lens enough to disengage the linkages.
Last one, I also found a working Canon AE-1 Program with a 50 1.4 SSC lens, 80-200 zoom, power winder and Nikon 135 3.5 non AI for $45 at a thrift store. I was really only interested in the 50 1.4 and the 135 lenses. The rest will be passed on or donated. It was a busy week.
