Photiac polarizing filter. Same idea as Leica POOLN, but not as expensive. Clamp filter to lens, swing round 180 degrees, rotate filter as required using knurled ring, swing back into position for use.
Addendum- not exactly easy to use. Flipping the filter blocks either the viewfinder of rangefinder. Rotating it knocks the focus off, unless locked on infinity. (Not quite as bad now I’ve stripped and greased it). Readjusting the focus affects the angle of the filter, so everything goes round and round in circles. Noticeable amber cast to filter, and magenta tint to surfaces with supressed reflections (although not yet seen any ill effects on minimal number of exposures). Vignetting with 35mm lens.
