Earlier this week a 20mm pancake for my Samsung NX's arrived, the 31mm eqiv. FOV will give me some good composition practice a little wider than my normal 45mm eqiv.
Also for the princely sum of £5.53 I'll have a rangefinder camera again and won't feel such a cheat here
A Rank Mamiya, looks nice in the ebay pics but definitely from a non photography seller so fingers crossed it'll work when it arrives.

the new Ricoh GR APS-C and a HUUUGE brass Voigtlander 7B Petzval lens. Both beauties in their own realm of photography (digital vs. wet plate collodion). Excited to get these things worked into my daily life!

Tonight I bought an Olympus XA4, brand new in box. It has never been used. The measuring strap hasn't even had the rubber o-ring that holds the strap folded up taken off.
Now the old question of what to do with it will certainly run through my mind: use it or make it a shelf queen?

Ordered a 28 f/2.8 AIS to go with the rest of my MF set and FM2/FM3a (and D600 w/canon split prism focussing screen). Had to beat the rush before the new retro camera is released! Thats my story and I'm sticking with it!

The head bartender has some information about the XA4 cameras here: http://www.cameraquest.com/xa4.htm According to him, they were hard to find in 2003.
Ten years after that, and I happen across a new one. This particular camera had been stuck in a closet somewhere in Texas for years, after it had been accidentally pushed off a stockroom shelf and stuck behind some other boxes at a camera store years and years ago. I've heard of things like that happening, but have never actually come into possession of an item with that history.
I'm thinking some Kodak Ultramax 800 would be a good first roll for it.

A great looking Summaron 35mm f/3.5 A36 lens, with LTM-M adapter and the FOOKH hood. I just posted a WTB ad in the classifieds, asking for the SOOGZ filter adapter and A36/39mm filters for B&W and IR on my M8.

A couple of Gordy's camera straps. One of them is going on my GXR which I got two weeks ago. Really having fun with the M-mount and the 50/2.5 A12.

An Ilford Sportsman, the one with the Steinheil lens and Prontor 125 shutter. That was the first camera I ever came across as my Dad had exactly the same model when I was wee.
