What have you just BOUGHT?

Found the M42 lens at a thrift store today for $8.50 (I had the Vivitar body)
It cleaned up pretty good...I noticed that one of the aperture blades is closing down a little further than the rest, it's noticeable around f/5.6 but really doesn't look like it will cause any difference in exposure until f/8 or smaller...I was thinking of trying to fix it but I can live with it...besides the glass is super clean and the focus looks very sharp...

115/4 Pro-Tessar auxiliary lens for my Contaflex IV, from the local shop. Cost me $65; I got the camera plus Tessar lens last fall for only $5, though.

While browsing a local store on their online catalogue one morning during breakfast, I pulled the credit card on yet another Nikon F. This time it is a black F with FTn finder and best of all, its a KE-48C in pretty good shape. There are some brassing around but overall good condition with no dents, etc. Received it a day later.

Good score. How much did you pay?

Leica X1 + grip. I have pretty much given up using DSLRs on the street, mostly I use my M8.2 or Nikon FM2/FE or occasionally a film compact. The X1 is even less obtrusive and more portable.

a heliar 15, after waiting for months for one to come up in the classifieds. I used ebay in the end, figuring that they don't come up on here because everyone wants to keep there's.... :p

The haul from the Photographica Fair in Nieuwegein (NL) yesterday:
KW reflex box
Couple of rolls of cheap expired color film.
MIR-26B for Kiev 88

That's a nice Reflex box there, Rick - Love to see some results! How did we not bump into each other at the fair?

I got away from the fair with (finally) a release guard for my IIIf and some other small odds & ends and I finally gave in and brought a Purma Special home. Those are just so pretty!

The Sigma 18-35 f1.8 ... ordered last night from B&H and should be here in a few days.

From what I've read this lens is an absolute gem. :)

I ran into quite a number of folks from the Analoog Foto Forum. And someone I knew through a World War 2 forum who collects Prakticas
Shame we didn't run into each other.

I agree on the Purma Special, it's a lovely and innovative design. They are getting harder to resist for me too. And with Maco bringing another batch of 127 to market in a few months, shooting with it would become a lot simpler too ;)

I did a little cleaning of the Reflex Box and it only wanted two tiny dots of oil at the pivot points of the guillotine shutter. That thing has quite a kick to it when pressing the release at 1/100th of a second.

A Voigtlander Bessa R4M and 35mm Voigtlander Nokton f1.2 (version 1). I'm about to supplement this with a 21mm Voigtlander Color-Skopar f4 and that will be my travel kit for a while.
