What have you just BOUGHT?

Realised I could buy a Panasonic Lumix GM1 body split from the lens, and claim the current Panasonic 'cash-back' - (UK only?). Been thinking about this camera for some time but was put off because I didn't really need the kit lens.
So what else is there to do on a Friday afternoon? Delivery promised for next Wednesday!

Two New Lenses for my Plaubel Makiflexes.

Two New Lenses for my Plaubel Makiflexes.

Here is one of my Plaubel Makiflex bodies, with two new lenses, that I just finished this last weekend.

On the Makiflex body, is my new 120mm F6.8 Schneider barrel-mount Angulon. This is as wide a lens as will go on this reflex body. Nice for 9x12cm or 4x5" handheld use.

In front of the camera, is my new 150mm F9 Rodenstock Apo-Ronar. This little dialyte covers 6x9 and is -unbelieveably- sharp.

Both of these lenses are from around the era of the camera bodies (I try to keep to this), from the late fifties to the middle sixties.

I have a NEX 5N and a few lenses for it and I just bought a NEX 7 (Ex+) from KEH. I wanted a little more resolution and still be able to use my Sony/Zeiss lenses. - jim

I recently bought a Leica M3 single stroke body for only $400. after CLA $650 total. This M3 has a single stroke chassis (after 95xxxx) and a 864xxx shell, so the repair man told me. But still, this makes a perfect user camera.

25/4 Nikkor ltm gathering dust in the local shop. No hood or caps, but it cleaned up well and was only $300. Kind of liking the built in vignetting too.

I just bought a non working contax T2 and a dismantled contax T3.

I'm the smartest guy on earth so I'm gonna find a way to fix these toys. Repair manual anybody?

I just picked up an Arca Swiss setup for my Fujifilm XT-1/VG-XT1 grip from Hejnar Photo Store. I also ordered their XT-1 Arca Swiss camera plate.

The set will convert my Manfrotto 410 great head from the Manfrotto RC2 mounting system to Arca Swiss.

Tomorrow I'm ordering a second XT-1 body which will replace my remaining D700 body.

A Rolleicord 1 model 2 , 1935, clean lenses but dirty shutter. Already cleaned the mirror (it was very hazy) and focus screen (not as dim as i thought it would be, but could do with a fresnel), the faster shutter speeds seem to be nearer the mark.

Might try some Rollei Ortho 25 in this, to give the pics a proper period pre-war feel - need some good subjects too :)

Type E screen (grid) and MS-13 battery holder (2 x CR123) for my F100 both rather hard to find.
Most screens that are offered as E in E boxes are the B which was removed and stored when the owner fitted the E screen :bang:
