What have you just BOUGHT?

a rollei 35S black in excellent condition
i have a feeling that most negative remarks in way it is handled is the misconception of it being an eye level camera...

treat it like a small waist level camera it doesn't get any better! (composing... what? XD)

A Minolta HiMatic 7sii. I have always wanted one and trying to nail one at a low price on ebay. Fed up though and got me one at a rather steep price ($100).

For an absolute steal, price-wise, an immaculate Rolleiflex 6006 II with a spotless Planar f2.8/80mm HFT, 120 and 220 magazines, plus a load of accessories and new a Ni-MH battery and charger.

Okay, it has a reputation for somewhat flaky electronics, but if I get a year or two out of it I’ll be happy.

What a gorgeous beast and brute of a camera! :D

Canon T90 with Canon 50/ 1.4

I missed my Nikon F3 and thought I would try another 35mm legend.
Any users on this forum?

A second-hand but mint Fuji X100 (chrome) with all the papers, manuals, leads, chargers and box. It's my new "go-to" daily commuter shooter and will be in my bag for the foreseeable future.

The Plaubel Makina "Miniature Film Back".

The Plaubel Makina "Miniature Film Back".

For my three Plaubel makiflexes. One body has the groundglass already marked for the 35mm format. So I can shoot Eastman Double-X film in them.

The Plaubel Makina "Miniature Film Back". 24x36mm. Interestingly, this one is marked "Made in Switzerland".

Quite clever engineering and mechanism. Built with typical Plaubel precision.

Mamiya m645 70mm 2.8 (w/Leaf Shutter) lens...
It came in the mail yesterday...I haven't opened the box yet...
Been wanting this lens for some time...unless I can find the 35mm lens at a great price I think I'm done buying lenses for this system...

Last month I received a couple of external finders, the 50 and the 90 ones by Voigtlander... I bought them because I was extremely happy when I got their 28 finder some time ago.
The new ones are visually just as impressive, but I didn't know they both were 1:1, so that was a new surprise to me, and I'm enjoying them a lot!
The dial for parallax correction that's in the 90 one, works very well, and makes portraiture with a 90 lens a real pleasure.
Thanks again CV for such an amazing line of products.
I also want to thank the forum members who kindly and patiently helped me get the finders.
Cheers,
Juan

Just got a brand new Zeiss ZM 25/2,8 with VF and an M2 that's older than my M3. Loving the 25 but still deciding whether to keep the M2.

Best regards.

I broke down, and bid on two Olympus cameras. Darn if I wasn't the only bidder on both.

OM PC (w/Zuiko 35-70mm and Hoya Skylight filter) $6.00

OM-1 MD (black, body only, w/cap) $6.95

Plus $25 in shipping between the two.

I don't know what came over me.
