What have you just BOUGHT?

VEGA-28V 120mm F2.8 mid-telephoto lens for my Kiev 88. $200, decent shape (some scuffs on outer ring), generally a very nice chunk of glass.

Something cheap. A Ricoh CX2 for $10 CND or $7.50 USD.

My son wants a digital camera for his 4th birthday. He wants to be like his papa.

I will have to take this camera out. It seems to create nice images.

The Pentax K-01 I bought "as new" from a gent in Japan has arrived. It is truly "as new", in the box, looks perfect. Quite a beautiful, meaty little block, actually; Marc Newsom did a great job on the styling and controls.

The two Limited lenses I am buying for it should be here in a week or so. I look forward to making some photos with the little bumblebee. 🙂

Yes, it is yellow ...

Contax-mount Zeiss Sonnar 135 f2.8, made about 1977 I think. One of those lenses that looks like all glass from the front. I have an adapter to use it on the A7S and have ordered one for the Canon FT I have acquired recently.

Wotancraft Raven bag - couldn't be happier than with the build quality. Will hold two M bodies, one M and my Fuji X-E1, or an M or the Fuji plus a TLR - but not much more. Definitely enforces a minimal kit.

Got an amazing deal on a Canadian Leica 35mm Summicron Ver.1 (8-element). Couldn't resist it at $1100, but I probably shouldn't have bought it, even at that price. Time to move around some money!

Out of curiosity - M3/goggled version, or M2 version? I paid $900 for my Canadian 8-element with goggles on KEH's recent Leica sale & have been curious as to how good my deal was.

I purchased the M2 version (no goggles), so it was a solid deal on that particular version from others I've seen listed on Ebay, here on RFF, etc. As far as the M3 version for $900, I think you got a good deal. Under $1000 for the goggled version is great as far as I'm concerned!

Leica Telyt-R 250mm f/4 v1, 3-cam, EXC condition, with warranty. A $2500+ lens for under $350... Walter Mandler design.

Betting that when the new Leica SL is released, all these R lens prices will double or triple. They can't have mine. ;-)

I was thinking that and worrying...

OTOH, as soon as the next really expensive camera comes out they will all appear dirt cheap for us to buy with only a dozen shutter clicks recorded: keeping my fingers crossed.
