What have you just BOUGHT?

I was back in Indiana for a few days, and decided to head over to the next town where I had seen a Nikon F3 in a flea market, along with some other cameras when I was home last year. Wasn't really expecting it to still be there, but it was, and with a Nikkor AI 135mm 2.8 hanging on the front.

Turns out the owner of the display booth had died the day before, and his kids were coming the next day to take it all to the auction house. So, along with the F3 I snagged a Voigtlander Perkeo II with case, and a Viewmaster with several disks and a product sheet from 1958.

The F3 is functioning properly, and is one of the early models with the DE-2 finder. It's got just the right amount of corner brassing. Now it needs an MD-4.

3.5cm 3,5 Summaron M Mount (1954 version)

and an Apple Quicktake 150. Turns on and takes photos. Now I need to go through the process of getting the images off of it after using it.

IIRC it uses the Apple Serial and a driver that was only provided for classic OSes, perhaps even limited to 7.5. There was a windows 95 adapter and driver, but it will be easier to get hold of a legacy Mac.

Fuji X-Pro2 with 35 f2 lens sweet combo! Really enjoying shooting with it have had it for 2 weeks or so... Feel I totally made the right call to ditch my Nikon D800E the bulk sucked amongst other things.. The Fuji is going to work hand to hand at times with my M9..

nah, there's some updated ways to get access to it on current machines. a little time consuming but better than going that convoluted route.

A month ago, I bought a set of Swift Audubon 8.5x44 binoculars. Model 804 Type II. Then I wanted to get a pair of binos for Bethanne and so got a set of Swift 8x40 Heron Aerolites. Not the Audubon, to say the least. So last week I found another set of Audubons, these also 804's and Type II but the kind with a blue ribbon for export to Europe.
Now to just get some decent weather during which we can see the stars!
