Well, I'm fairly skint after this one. I have seen some lovely results from the Elmar-M 50/2.8 and finally bought one. Looks nice on the M3 and works well on the Sony A7S.

Just picked up a used Lensbaby Velvet 56 in Fuji X mount. I don't know how often it will be used but it's certainly unique at apertures wider than f5.6.

125mm Fujinon GX mounted on Plaubel Peco Jr Recessed Lensboard. Focused at infinity wiith room to spare. Made a few marks on the front ring, with my Band Saw 😀: A success! The front ring marks will easily clean up. I cannot remove the front cell from the GX shutter which is OK with me. So the lens is still as sharp as when it left the factory. This is NOT the same thing as my 120mm Angulon, which is a Dagor 6.8 lens.

I went to a yard sale yesterday and managed to pick up for $60:
Honeywell Tilt-a-mite flashgun for M2 flash bulbs with folding/fanning reflector, in box
Bell and Howell 8mm movie camera
Bell and Howell Canon FD-mount camera body and 50/1.8
Minolta Hi-matic 7
Yashica TL-X SLR with 50/1.9
All the above is kinda "pssh whatever"
Yashica Electro 35 GSN, very VERY clean. Even the battery compartment is clean, nobody left a mercury battery in it for 30 years 😉
Polaroid SX-70, the version of the original manual focus with tripod socket and strap lugs, plus strap. This was also thankfully devoid of battery and film during its storage days. It's a bit dirty inside but it should hopefully work well.
I was wearing my M2 while browsing the cameras in the box, and one of the gentlemen running the show said he thinks he has four of those from his grandparents. He recognizes the name. I left my phone number 🙂

New bag for SLR bits for a steal at £1.75 ($3-ish) with two busted flashes and a Pentacon case. Also a Voigtlander Bessa 66 with 75mm Skopar, £10 looks good so am going to CLA and sell it on to fund my film habit.

I bought 17 rolls of HP5 from Amplis yesterday. Why 17? It brought the cost just over the $100 requirement for free shipping. 🙂

Canon FD 35-105mm F3.5 zoom lens for $35. Should be good for adapting to Sony camcorders, since I now shoot far more videos than stills.
