What have you just BOUGHT?

GDR Praktica B200 and CZJ 35/2.4 Prakticar (Flektogon) lens

I wasn't expecting as much but it's a surprisingly nice camera.
It is actually quite competitive to its Japanese contemporaries
(c. 1979) in size, modern features, apparent quality and feel.

Chris

That's the first camera I ever owned. I did my O Level photography with it. I've never seen one since it gave up the ghost after about 7years of use. I traded it in for a Ricoh of some sort.

A Leica Meter MF with a booster both in tiny leather cases. At the moment they’re on my M3 but I think they pre-date it and should be on one of my IIIs.

Recently purchased a "C" mount 50mm f1.8 Cine-Nikkor (boxed with original Nikon front and back caps) to use on my Olympus E-P3 with a "C"
mount adapter.
I believe it is an Ernostar (6 element lens).
It covers the full frame without vignetting and is very sharp and compact.

Ikoflex III -------from 1939. Uncoated Tessar 80mm f2.8.

Significantly lighter than my Rollei 3.5F , lens nice a sharp centrally wide open with low(ish) contrast. This TLR has an interesting and huge direct and parallax correcting viewfinder in addition to a reasonably bright focus screen. Another interesting feature is that the shutter trigger is mounted high , just above (on the right) of the viewing lens.

The handling and lens were so nice that I kept despite it needing a light leak fixed.

My plan was to sell the kit but I made the mistake of mounting the lens on the Fuji XT1...

A very pretty black Pentax MX with 50/1.4 bought from the classifieds here. A pair of motorized black MXes were my first brand new cameras back when I was a teen, so this is a homecoming of sorts. I only had them for a year before I needed to sell them off and go Nikon when I got my first position.

Tamrons have great glass, IMO.

I have a Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro for my Olympus OM-4Ti and it's silly sharp. Good luck with yours! =)

I found this Tamron 35-70 3.5 BBAR CF Macro lens in an antique store...paid $35 and it came with the Canon Adaptall 2 mount in black...it's in like new condition and very sharp...

This past Sunday I came home with this nice collection of Barnacks.
Interestingly, the original owner of these cameras was a photographer for
the Studebaker car company.

IIIf, IIIa and the lovely little Ia. They all function properly too. Even the all original 1928 Ia.

Creenus...

I've read a few reviews on the Tamron 90mm and I'm liking what I'm reading...it might be the next Tamron for this guy...
Here is a shot taken at the kitchen table, hand-held available light...I don't recall the aperture but shot at 1/160 and set at 1600 ISO...it wasn't stopped down much if not at all...
This is a sharp lens...
