I took the rangefinder off the camera to see if I can clean and adjust it, but I found that the base plate of the RF slides into slots on either side of the body, and it was stuck solidly. No amount of prying or pressing, short of bending something out of shape, would let me get it off. Hans Kerensky has posted photos of the RF disassembly, but mine is different from his.
 
I purchased "service" to remove the EV interlock on a Konica IIIA camera. Camera is much easier to use now that the shutter and aperture rings operate independently; much less fiddling needed to arrive at correct shutter speed and aperture.
 
I found this near-perfect W-Nikkor-C 3.5 f/2.5 on the dread auction site. I think it was mis-listed and placed in the wrong category, so there wasn't much competition for it, and I picked it up for a song. Came with case and caps and now my S3 is complete (but not perfect since this 3.5cm is the wrong year. But I'm a user not a collector!)
