I've given up on the 43mm filter for mine. Just following Rockwell and use modern 43mm and carefully attach
 
FotodioX 20mm Maco extension for the X2D. I'd like to look at things up close this winter when all that is happening outside is cold and rain. Be prepared for photos of navel lint. LMAO
 
Oh Dear Oh Dear, I thought my collecting days were over but this guy is selling a white Focamatic designed by the celebrated Roger Tallon (look him up).

Fortunately I don't think I have a spare 200 Euros lying around for what is, I suspect, not a very good camera!

How can you not buy the compact 127 camera ?
 
Dear Board,

I took a couple of chances on an auction site. I won 2 Nikkormat FTN's. An older chrome version and newer black version. I didn't buy them because I needed them, I bought them for the lenses. The chrome one has a Nikkor 28mm/f3.5 H and black one has what I though was a 24mm/f2.8 AI but is in fact the AI-s version. Both cameras and lenses seem to work with new batteries. The chrome one matches every camera I own when metering. The black one was DOA and even with a new battery still did not work. But I cleaned the meter compartment with a little vinegar and low and behold the meter responds and the needle reacts to changing shutter speeds and/or apertures. Further testing is needed, but I now have vintage Nikkors from 24mm to 300mm in all the focal lengths except for 85mm.

Last week I bought one 21mm push-on Yellow-Green filter and one 21mm push-on Yellow filter (which is a bit pale for my taste, but they seem to be rarer than a hen's teeth necklace being worn by Lord Lucan while riding shergar, so begger's can't be chosers), for my Altissa Altix III.

While walking from Grand Central Station to the connection for the Times Square Shuttle (subway) I passed what some NYC wag had written on the wall, "Judge Crater, please call your office." Manhattan humor. You gotta love it.
 
Oh I’m a lucky boy - I just snagged a very nice (or so it appeared in the seller’s photos) set of tilt/swing bellows for my Bronica S2. I was so sure that these bellows were going to go way over $150, but I got them for $50. Really looking forward to putting them to use.

Is the image circle from Bronica lenses large enough to give you a fair amount of movement? The somewhat small image circle from Hasselblad lenses constrained the Flexbody so that eventually they came out with the Arcbody and Rodenstock lenses to get more movement.

No idea - I’d assume that since Bronica designed these bellows to be used with their lenses, there should be room to maneuver. I don’t have the bellows yet but that’s one thing I’ll be sure to check out.

Nice, that would be fun to work with. If the lenses don't have enough image circle adapting a large format lens would certainly give you plenty.
 
I was looking online for a price estimate on a Fujifilm XF 14mm lens for a possible future purchase. I was casting about trying to decide whether I'd use the 14mm more than a 23mm (as well as how much use I'd get from either). While doing this I stumbled on a "spot price deal" with a substantial discount on the 14mm: substantial enough that I could add a 23mm/f2 as well (not quite as discounted; from the same vendor) for less than others were charging for the 14mm alone.

Perhaps I should have resisted. But I didn't...
