Just picked up 3 rolls of inexpensive (relative term) 36 exposure Fuji color film. Amazingly that is all I have bought so far this year! But as a defense, I have been busy developing and printing film exposed during Christmas.

After attending this amazing exhibit for the second time I decided to buy the book. I would highly recommend both the book and/or the exhibit (currently at VMFA along with the American, Born Hungary exhibit). Tons of work by many that most of us would consider to be modern masters.

Dear Board,

I purchased a couple of lenses from Ukranian eBay sellers. The first of which arrived today, a Canon 35mm f2.8 in M39 mount. I was impressed with the speed of shipment as it only took 14 days from the time I placed the order. It was extremely well packaged in Styrofoam padding and arrived in as advertised condition. I'm kind of amazed by how tiny the lens is, a 35mm F2.8 Nikkor S for F mount is easily twice the size and weight!

Just bought one of these recently too, I was also shocked at just how small this lens is.

Two sheets of clear red 100-micron plastic to make a red window from (spot the minimum pack size!)

One sheet of 1mm acrylic to cut some ground "glass"es from. Nervous about this as it's coming via the Courier Formerly Known as Herpes (UK members will understand), who were bloody useless in the run up to Christmas.

Last of the big spenders!

I went a little crazy this holiday season added a Thypoch 50mm f 2.0, that was so nice then a lll Speed Panchro II in Chrome, and now I am waiting for a ArtraLab 35mm f 1.4 Steel Rim copy in chrome/silver to show up Tue or Wed. They will all look good next to my V1 35 summicron in chrome and my V2 chrome summilux 50. Those were both picked up used in 1971 when I started out with Leica M's after selling my Canon 7Sv with the 19mm, 35mm, 50mm and the 100mm and a canon P body. Started with 2 M 3's then sold one and got a M5, then a M4-2 and lastly a Hexar RF. Still have them just don't use film anymore, still have about 30 rolls in the freezer plus 2 100 ft of b&w. I use all my M lenses except for the 21 and 28 on Sony a7s and a9 thank god I can still focus 77 and counting.
