What new Voigtlander RF or SLR product would you like to see?

An M-mount 85/2.8 for $400 or less would be a great companion to a 35/2 on a ZI. Makes sense for it to be cheaper since it wouldn't see as much use and isn't as fast. Current Zeiss 85s are too expensive or too slow. I'd even settle for a 90mm if it helps Voigtlander avoid stepping on Zeiss' toes.

Still want a fast 90mm... newer than the Canon 85/2
A 90/2.5 APO Lanther "M" Mount. With a short focus -- 135 degrees from INF to 3 feet.

If Tri-Elmar knockoff is out of the question, How about at least a 2 focal length lens with good speed, say a 28mm/50mm or a 35mm/60/70mm at f2.8???

Bessa CX
A compact titanium M mount camera designed for smaller lenses like skopar 35mm. nokton 40mm etc. basically an updated version of the leica cle but cheaper and more reliable. if it was digital... even better!

Perhaps Cosina could start to put a leg finger in the film industry and advance slowly and progressively. I do understand this is something absolutely different from what they do now, but on the other hand they could start buying cheap the facilities others are escaping from. 220 MF film in bw and various sensibilities could be a great start.

For a camera and lens manufacturer, to develope its own films, I am sure it must improve the films, the lens and the cameras.

Besides, I have liked very much the idea above forwarded by another member about a MF camera, exvhangeable lens and if possible also AF

Cheers,
Ruben

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but PLEASE, please bring back the Bessa R or something similar, maybe even a less expensive similar camera that takes LTM lenses and has at least a 50mm frame line and built-in rangefinder. Actually a Bessa simlar to the Canon-P might be interesting: one viewfinder and three frame lines - very simple. Sell three simple low-priced LTM lenses with it: a 35, a 50, and say a 90mm of some sort.

There is no modestly priced entry level rangefinder camera now like this and a camera of this type will eventually lead to more business at the higher end of the market as the newly curious can test the waters with some basic good quality Japanese-made gear. It allows them to avoid the perils and complexities of the used market (until they understand the technology better) and to just get a start with a solid working, relatively modern system. I'm sure sales to more experienced users will also result, particularly if a nice collectible or commemorative edition of some type is also produced.

Fast Lenses built specifically for Micro Four Thirds Cameras. Specificially, wide angle lenses (24, 28, 35)

Now, that's a good idea... manual focus, chipped bla bla bla...

Maybe even toss in a similar line up for APS-C (Nikon/Canon etc).
It looks like the original manufacturers are mostly interested in building big zooms and when they do build fast primes they are completely geared towards AF (see the Nikkor 1.8/35).

Hi Cosina Voigtländer...

Some of us have -in this and other threads- stated our interest in a small 28mm for your latest M camera, the R4M/R4A, which has 28 solitary framelines in its viewfinder... With a small 28 the camera would be the first pocketable wideangle M camera in the world...

The only 28 you have is the f/2 Ultron, not small... And your "old" 28 3.5 color-skopar is not available long ago... Well, we've been commenting about a possible and very interesting black pancake 28 f/3.5 or 28 f/4 for the R4s... Wouldn't it be easy to do it? Would be a hot seller no doubt...

OK, we've said that before, for months or years, and nothing comes... So, why don't you just make the black LTM 28 3.5 again? Easy! We want it, we buy it...

Cheers,

Juan

how about a spot meter with same form factor as the CV II meter? or, maybe a tiny attachment or slide to enable the CV II to take 1 to 5 degree spot readings?

1) 15mm f/2.8 in M mount
2) A bessa with a longer EBL without the issues of the zeiss
3) fix the strap lug problem!!!
4) Please please please make it a little quieter!!!

Ive just recently decided that what I would really like is a scew in optic for the 90 degree angle finder for 35mm lenses. If a 35mm optic existed I would buy another 90 degree angle finder so I had both 35mm and 21mm quickly accessible. These are superb for low angle shots.
