A full frame digital Bessa with the ASA capabilities of a D3 and silent mode from a hexar af ;] anddddddd the viewfinder from the R4M mixed with the Zeiss Ikon ZM

I agree a small (pocketable) fixed lens rf would be great.
What if it had a barnack look to it rather than the circle in a square box style of the 60s and 70s? But keep the dials

Firstly I wouldn't really be interested in a digital Bessa.
In terms of lenses which have been already mentioned, I would join in with the rest and say a 50mm 1.2 or 1.0. However - personally I would buy a superfast (1.2,1.0?) 40mm, that could be something really special - and from what I gather, it would fit with the Voigtlander RF ethos.
Accessories - I would also buy a grip for my Bessa with 2 strap lugs (basically the trigger winder grip without the trigger winder!) . Or some other solution to the strap lug 'queston', which is the only thing that bugs me about the body.

This is my first post here. I have been lurking some time and I am looking for a RF camera.
Im undecided wether it should be a M2, M4-2 second hand or a Bessa R2M Mainly because of the RF baselenght. First lens would be a 35mm Color Skopar classic (with M adapter)
So in the RF body department I'll second a Bessa with a longer RF baselenght.
Regarding RF lenses I dunno.
In my dreams 35mm SLR lenses. AIS 24(5) mm close focus (17-18cm) like the Zeiss.
AIS 24mm, 35mm and 85mm Tilt Shift lenses and the 85mm like the Nikkor a Macro lens.
A 50-58mm f/1.0 AIS
MF RFs Ill second that. The Plaubel Makina is way to expensive so a new 6X6, 6X7 and/or 6X9
RF would be nice. Folder or rigid I don't care.
Also the Bessa R45 with something like a 125- 135mm and filmholders ala the Grafmatics for fast fifties like reportage shooting

I would like a camera with acurate rangefinder to focus a 50mm f 1 and 75mm f1.4, meter with external leds like Bessa L/T, a film version, and a full frame digital with good ISO performance should be a low light winner.
- 50mm f1 and 75mm f1.4 with character bokeh.
Just it. Not ease I think.

1) A 50/1.2 -- the 35/12 Nokton is my most-used lens. Would a 50/1.2 be that much more difficult to design and build?
2) A multi-focal length lens with FL's that match framelines on: R3A or R4A or new CV body

Oh heck! I'll add my thoughts: A Bessa equivalent of the excellent ZI RF camera, but at a price point FAR less than $1000. (Okay; I'd buy one today if it came in at around $750-800) Getting that ZI baseline and automatic framelines would be perfect. And re-design the body to be more "contemporary". (More Leica-like?? I don't know, but more substantial looking AND feeling.) As for lenses, the impossible (?): a 21/f2.8, and either a 75, 85 or 90/f2.8, PLUS something over 100mm (a 125 or 135mm) and again, f2.8 and at an affordable price point below Zeiss lenses.

I would like to see Cosina come out with a better faster 75mm lens.
I use film and have a gap of 40mm between my 50 and 90mm lenses. A 75mm is right in between.
If I go to a cropped sensor 1.2-1.33x crop the lens will wind up replacing my 90mm.
If Cosina improved its 75mm with less vignetting and an F2.0 speed rating through in special density glass and asph to correct any CA it would be in my opinion a good seller.
Only Leica makes such a lens. I think F2 is fast enough these days for anything other than available light in dark places.
One thing I want no loss of light across the whole frame edge to edge so don't make the lens too slim make sure has a flat image too. I don't mind if the lens is a few mm fatter to do this.
